Happy Diwali essay, best wishes, celebrate Diwali 2018

Diwali is the festival of lights. The actual day of Diwali is traditionally celebrated on the festival‘s third day, which this year falls on Wednesday, 7 November. The festival gets its name from the row of clay lamps .that Indians light outside their homes to symbolize the inner light that protects from spiritual darkness. This festival is as important to Hindus as the Christmas holiday is to Christians. The season has arrived to celebrate the most beautiful of all the festivals in India with lots of joy and enthusiasm.

This festival comes with a long vacation for the school going kids who eagerly wait for this occasion. Along with the festive celebrations, the children can also learn and enhance new things by doing other extracurricular activities.

Diwali is my favorite festival because on this day the whole India is covered up with lights and we enjoy a lot by burning firecrackers, eating sweets and wearing new clothes. We light Candles, lamps, and diyas in our homes. All the streets, shops, markets are decorated with lights. The preparation for the celebration of this festival starts a month ago.

We all clean our houses so that Goddess Lakshmi comes to our houses and provide our family with good fortune, wealth and prosperity. We distribute sweets and Diwali gifts to each other. During the firework the scene of the sky is splendid. It looks so fantastic. we also make a rangoli on Diwali in our homes.
