History of Diwali

Diwali is celebrated 20 days after Dusshera on that day Shri Ram killed the Ravana . Diwali is called the Festival of Lights and is celebrated to honor Shri Ram Chandra (the lord of hindu’s). It is believed that on the day of Diwali Shri Ram returned to his village(Ayodhya)  after 14 years of exile during that he fought and won a battle against the demons their king name Ravana.
